Clarivein is another addition to the minimal invasive treatment of varicose veins. It uses a special catheter with a wire tip rotating at high speed that effectively damages the venous intima. At the same time, the catheter allows controlled injection of sclerosant that closes the vein.
Unlike Laser (EVLT) or Radiofrequency (VNUS) which uses heat to ablate varicose veins. Clarivein employs unique mechanical-chemical ablation technique.
